Being listed in Veraz (Argentina’s main credit bureau) or other credit databases can stop you from getting a loan, a credit card or even renting a home. Sometimes the debt shown has already been paid, never existed or is so old that it should no longer appear.
Personal Data Protection Law No. 25,326 gives you the right to know what data is being reported about you and to ask for it to be corrected or deleted when it is incorrect, out of date or relates to time-barred debts. If that does not happen, you can bring a habeas data action (a court action to access and correct personal data).
Our team reviews your report and tells you clearly what can be done in your case.
When can you make a claim?
- The debt shown has already been paid.
- You don't recognize the debt, or it is a mistake.
- The information is out of date.
- The debt is very old and may be time-barred.
- You already asked for a correction and received no answer.
Important
This procedure is for correcting data that should not be listed; it does not erase legitimate debts. If the debt is real, we can help you sort it out and make sure that, once paid, it is reported correctly.
What can you request?
- Access to the information being reported about you.
- Correction of incorrect data.
- Updating of outdated data.
- Deletion of data that should not be listed.

Frequently asked questions
Can a debt I really owe be erased?
No. Correction or deletion is for incorrect, outdated or time-barred data. If the debt is legitimate, we can help you sort it out and make sure that, once paid, it is reported correctly.
What is habeas data?
Habeas data is a court action to find out what data is held about you and require it to be corrected or deleted where appropriate.
I've paid the debt but I'm still listed. What should I do?
Gather your proof of payment or debt-clearance certificate and talk to us: you can ask for the data to be updated.
