Domestic violence

If you are living with violence, you are not alone. Help is available, and the law protects you.

If you are in danger right now

Call 911. For guidance and support in situations of gender-based violence, you can contact Line 144, free of charge, 24 hours a day.

Violence within the family can take many forms: physical, psychological, economic, sexual. Sometimes it leaves no visible marks, but it affects the safety and peace of the whole household. No one should have to endure it.

The law allows you to request fast protection orders, such as removing the abuser from the home or a restraining order. These measures can be requested when you make your report.

Our team listens to you with respect and complete discretion, explains your options and supports you at every step, at whatever pace you need. Your safety and your children’s safety come first.

When should you seek help?

  • You are subjected to physical attacks, insults, threats or humiliation.
  • Someone controls your money, your phone or who you see.
  • Your children are exposed to violence.
  • You have already made a report and need the protective measures to be enforced.

Measures that can be requested

  • Removal of the abuser from the home.
  • A restraining order banning approach and contact.
  • Return to the home for the person who had to leave.
  • Interim measures on child support and the children's care.

How we support you

We explain how and where to make a report, and we go with you.

  3. Protection orders

We request the measures your situation calls for.

  4. Follow-up

We make sure they are enforced and move forward with any outstanding family matters.

If you can, keep these somewhere safe

You don't need evidence to ask for help. But if you have any, keep it safe:

  • Messages and voice notes.
  • Photos.
  • Medical certificates.
  • Previous reports.

Don’t worry if you don’t have everything: we will go through it together at the consultation.
